Wash and compatible protection
Add a suitable wax or protective product where appropriate for the finish. Confirm the product and preparation. Gloss-enhancing products are not suitable for every surface.

How Dubai conditions affect paint care
Dust, strong sunlight and contamination affect how often your BMW needs cleaning. Regular washing is not just about looks. It protects the paint and trim from damage that builds up slowly.
Fine sand and dust
Desert dust settles every day, even in covered parking. Wiping it dry with a cloth drags grit across the clear coat and leaves swirl marks that show in direct sun.
Hard water spots
Water left to dry in the sun leaves mineral rings, often from garden sprinklers or building drips. Some marks are deposits, while others involve etching. Assess persistent marks before selecting a treatment.
Sun and heat
Strong UV fades black trim and dries out rubber seals. Bird droppings and tree sap bake on fast in the summer heat and can damage the finish, depending on the contamination and conditions.

The order matters. Method, tool cleanliness, products and the existing finish all matter.

Look before we touch
We check the paint, trim and any existing marks so you know the condition before the wash starts. Chips and wheel scuffs are pointed out to you.

Rinse off loose dirt
A thorough rinse lifts sand and dust first, so it is not rubbed into the clear coat. Pre-rinsing reduces loose contamination before contact washing.

Wheels and tyres first
Brake dust is the dirtiest part of the car, so wheels are cleaned separately with their own tools and contamination transfer is reduced.

Gentle body wash
Soft mitts and a careful top to bottom wash. The lower sills and bumpers, which carry the most road dirt, are done last.

Dry, dress and finish
Careful drying helps reduce water spots. Glass is cleaned, trim dressed and wax applied if you chose it.

Caring for BMW paint, trim and wheels
A BMW has several different surfaces, and each one needs its own care. Treating them all the same is how gloss black trim gets scratched and matte paint gets ruined.
Metallic and gloss paint
Most BMW colours have a clear coat on top. It is tough, but swirl marks show clearly in direct sun, especially on black, blue and dark grey cars. A gentle wash and regular wax keep it deep and glossy.
Matte paint
BMW Frozen and other matte finishes need compatible care products. Avoid abrasive polishing and ordinary gloss-enhancing waxes. Follow the specific finish instructions before applying protection.
Gloss black trim
Pillars, grilles and window surrounds in gloss black scratch very easily with a dry cloth, and the marks show in every photo.
Rubber and plastic
Seals and black plastics dry out in the heat. Use a compatible product where appropriate. Dressing does not repair damaged seals or guarantee against cracking.
Alloy wheels
Brake dust can bond to wheel surfaces. Left on the rims it can stain and pit the finish, which is costly on diamond cut wheels.

Choose a wash when the main need is removing loose dirt and cleaning the usual contact surfaces. A wash does not remove scratches or repair paint damage.
Stains and bonded deposits
Request an assessment for interior stains, persistent water spots, tar or other contamination. Cleaning method, time and possible results depend on the material and condition.
Paint correction and deep cleaning
Book a separate detailing assessment for deeper work. Compare BMW detailing options before choosing polishing or specialist treatments.

Careful hand washing
Pre-rinsing, clean tools, suitable products and gentle drying help reduce the risk of marking. No wash method guarantees a scratch-free result regardless of condition or technique.
Automatic equipment
Brush, cloth and touchless systems differ. Suitability depends on your vehicle, finish, equipment and operator instructions. Automatic washing is not universally prohibited for BMWs.

Check the owner manual for your model and any coating or film instructions. BMW provides car-wash preparation guidance, including post-wash brake care.

- Leather seatsIdentify the upholstery first. Leather, coated leather and synthetic materials need compatible products. Avoid saturating perforated seats and do not promise that conditioning prevents cracking.
- Carpets and bootVacuumed deep into the pile, including mats and sand from beach trips.
- iDrive and dashUse clean soft cloths and screen-compatible methods. Avoid excess liquid and abrasive products.

BMW engine bay cleaning
A clean engine bay looks good when you sell the car and makes oil or coolant leaks much easier to spot early. On a BMW it has to be done carefully, because the bay is full of electronics.

Share the installer’s care instructions. Products, pressure, temperature and attention around film edges must suit the installed material. Confirm any recent installation or repaint curing restrictions.
Engine bays and electric vehicles
Engine-bay cleaning requires a separate suitability check. Do not assume a combustion-engine cleaning method applies to an EV or hybrid front compartment. Avoid flooding intakes and sensitive electrical components.
Drying and handover
Confirm interior drying time when wet cleaning is requested. Review remaining stains or marks at collection. Cleaning does not guarantee removal of every stain, odour or scratch.

How much is a BMW car wash in Dubai?

What does an exterior wash include?
Confirm body washing, wheel cleaning, exterior glass and drying in the quote. Routine interior cleaning, wax, stain treatment and engine-bay cleaning should be listed separately when requested.
Will washing remove scratches and water spots?
A wash removes dirt but does not repair scratches. Remaining spots may be deposits or etching. Inspection determines whether further cleaning, decontamination or paint correction is appropriate.
Can a wash scratch the paint?
Contamination, unsuitable tools or poor technique can mark paint. Pre-rinsing, clean tools and appropriate products reduce risk but cannot provide an unconditional scratch-free guarantee.
Can my BMW use an automatic car wash?
Check the owner manual, finish requirements and operator instructions. Automatic systems differ. Follow the appropriate preparation for your vehicle and any restrictions for coatings, wraps, PPF or matte finishes.
Can you wash BMW Frozen or matte paint?
Tell us about the finish before booking so the method and products can be confirmed. Avoid abrasive polishing and ordinary gloss-enhancing waxes. Use only products compatible with the specific matte finish.
How often should I wash or wax my BMW?
Base cleaning on contamination and exposure. Follow the protective product and finish instructions rather than a universal wax or detailing interval. Remove harmful contamination promptly and appropriately.
Is engine-bay cleaning included?
No automatic inclusion should be assumed. Request it separately and confirm suitability. A cool engine, appropriate products and protection of vulnerable components are required. EV and hybrid compartments need their own assessment.
Does interior cleaning remove AC odours?
It can remove accessible dirt, but persistent odours may involve the cabin filter, evaporator, drainage or moisture. Diagnosis and repairs are separate from routine cleaning.
How long will the wash take?
Confirm the appointment and expected completion with your quote. Vehicle condition, added work and interior drying can change the time. Pickup and delivery add travel time.
Can I add a wash to my service booking?
Yes, request it when booking and confirm the work and price. Adding a wash does not mean it is automatically complimentary.
Do you offer pickup in Dubai?

When should I choose detailing instead?
Choose a detailing assessment for deep interior cleaning, bonded contamination or paint correction. The detailing package, finish compatibility and expected results should be agreed separately.
