Independent BMW specialists in Al Quoz
Bring back smooth running, dependable cooling and confident gear changes. We assess misfires, oil leaks, boost faults and gearbox problems on E82 coupes and E88 convertibles, then quote the repair that your 135i needs.

Service prices then repair budgets
Choose routine maintenance when the service is due. For a warning, leak or running problem, start with assessment and compare the repair budget below.
Broad Dubai and UAE market estimates from our detailed repair pages. These are planning ranges, not fixed 135i offers or guaranteed fitted totals.
Gasket-only work. A damaged cover or ventilation fault changes the repair.
Repair the identified seal leak. Additional housings, seals or contaminated parts need separate approval.
Replacement budget. Confirm pump, seals, labour, coolant, bleeding and checks, plus any thermostat work.
Conventional automatic only, after diagnosis. DCT repairs and complete replacement units need a separate quote.
Turbochargers, injectors, clutches and internal engine repairs are quoted against the proven fault, exact parts and quantities. An N54 turbo pair is different from an N55 single turbo. Compare engine repair, water-pump work and gearbox repair inclusions.
Inclusions are not specified. in the published starting prices. Request a written total covering diagnosis, parts and quantities, labour, fluids, testing and exclusions. Agree investigation or reassembly charges before work starts, including what remains payable if you decline repair.
Start with the problem you notice
Choose the closest symptom to see which checks guide the repair. Tell us when it happens and what has already been replaced.

Severe misfiring, fuel leakage, a red oil-pressure warning or seriously reduced braking needs prompt attention. Stop safely and ask about appropriate collection or recovery rather than making a routine drive to the workshop.
Match the engine and body
The badge alone cannot identify the turbocharger, fuel-system parts or gearbox. Build date and market specification are especially useful on imported or modified cars.
Match body, glass, door and drivetrain parts to the coupe. Previous tuning, suspension changes or an engine swap should be mentioned before the inspection.
Add roof movement, seals, drains and any water-entry concern to the assessment. Convertible-specific parts and access can change the repair plan.
Not sure which engine is fitted? Send the year and chassis details. The M135i hatchback is a different model; use our 1 Series repair page for the wider range.
Restore dependable engine cooling
Inspect the expansion tank, hose connections, radiator and accessible seals. Pressure testing can help identify a leak that appears as the system warms up.
A hose repair, thermostat replacement and electric water-pump replacement are separate jobs. Agree which components are being changed and why.
The quote should include the specified coolant and required filling or bleeding procedure, followed by leak and operating checks. Overheating damage may need additional assessment.

A loud fan or coolant warning needs diagnosis. Repeated top-ups cannot confirm that the pump, thermostat or another component is working correctly.
Repair the right part
A visible leak can lead to very different quotations. Compare the identified source and the part being replaced, rather than a generic oil-leak price.
Our engine repair assessment separates external sealing work from oil-consumption or internal engine investigation.
Suitable when the sealing joint is the identified fault and the surrounding component remains serviceable. Confirm the exact gasket, labour, cleaning and leak recheck.
A cracked, distorted or otherwise faulty assembly can require more than a new seal. The estimate should explain why a complete part is necessary and name its manufacturer.
Oil affecting belts, hoses or hot surfaces may create additional work. Those findings should be explained and approved separately from the initial gasket repair.
The transmission changes the procedure
135i transmission options changed through production. Select the installed type below, or send the chassis details so it can be identified.
Keep the complete car dependable
Describe the symptom first. Similar noises or warnings can need checks in different systems.
Check pads, disc thickness and condition, calipers and the fitted brake package before pricing one wheel or an axle pair.
Brake repair optionsSeparate knocks, worn joints and damper problems from tyre or wheel issues. Confirm quantity, hardware and any alignment work.
Suspension repairsA slow crank needs different checks from normal cranking without starting. Assess the battery, supply and charging system as indicated.
Battery fitment and registrationCheck cooling performance, leaks and airflow before selecting component work. Cabin AC is separate from engine cooling.
AC assessment and repairTell us where the roof stops moving or where water enters. Confirm roof, seal, drain and electrical checks for the actual fault. For rear lighting, tail-light repair distinguishes a bulb, connector, wiring fault and complete lamp.

Build a service plan from the car
Start with the Condition Based Service display, applicable schedule and records. Different items can become due at different times.
Arrange a condition inspection and agree priorities. Mention tuning, aftermarket intake parts and previous repairs. A fixed 10,000, 30,000 and 60,000 km ladder is not a universal 135i schedule. A reset records completed work; it does not resolve a warning fault.
Compare our oil service and service packages with the work due. BMW's maintenance guidance explains the service display and applicable booklet.
Before buying a used 135i
Use a pre-purchase inspection to separate immediate repairs, further diagnosis and maintenance advisories before committing to the car.
Ask for the agreed checks and written report. A road test depends on safety and access, and an inspection cannot reveal every hidden or intermittent fault.
Match chassis details, service records, engine specification and known tuning. Ask what parts have already been changed and why.
Assess starting, idle, warning messages and accessible leaks. Unresolved running or oil-consumption concerns may need separate mechanical tests.
Review coolant concerns and check shifting, braking and ride when a safe road test is possible. Record faults that could not be reproduced.
Inspect agreed windows, lights, AC and cabin equipment. An E88 needs roof-operation and water-entry concerns included in the brief.
Our Al Quoz workshop lists BMW diagnostic equipment, trained BMW technicians and genuine or OEM parts options. Request the readings, measurements or inspection findings behind the proposed repair. Images on this page are AI-generated workshop visuals, not completed customer-job records.

Clear choices before work starts
Choose genuine BMW or suitable OEM parts where available. Ask for manufacturer, part number, quantity and condition of any replacement assembly.
Review the findings and fitted quote. Newly discovered work or extra dismantling needs an agreed charge or revised approval.
Parts availability and access affect completion time. Ask for warranty duration, mileage limit, covered work, exclusions and claim process.
Keep the invoice, relevant final checks and remaining advisories. Manufacturer warranty claims and recalls belong with the authorised BMW network.

Before you contact us
Start with the year, mileage and symptom. Chassis details can follow when the parts need matching.
Earlier 135i cars use the twin-turbo N54; later cars use the single twin-scroll N55. Build date and market specification matter, especially with imports or engine swaps. Chassis details and inspection are safer than registration year alone.
The published six-cylinder oil-service starting price is AED 450, with specified engine oil, a new oil filter and the applicable reset. Confirm the correct approval, quantity, inclusions and a written fitted total for your engine.
No. Leaks, boost-control problems, ignition or fuel faults can also cause reduced power. Relevant tests should identify the cause before a turbo repair or replacement is quoted.
Yes, we assess the E88 135i as well as the E82 coupe. Describe any roof or water-entry fault so the available checks, body-specific parts and repair can be confirmed.
Not automatically. A conventional automatic and a dual-clutch transmission have different fluid, parts and procedure requirements. Identify the installed gearbox before booking a package or approving repair.
Routine servicing is shorter work than diagnosis, turbo access or internal gearbox repair. Ask for assessment and completion estimates after the fault, required work and parts availability are known. Enquiring does not guarantee a same-day repair.
Request the written terms for the selected parts and actual repair. They should explain the duration, mileage limit, covered parts and labour, exclusions and claim process; identical coverage should not be assumed for every job.
