Oil service
AED 450Starting price for specified engine oil, filter and applicable reset.
Independent BMW workshop in Al Quoz
Losing coolant, shaking under braking or due for a service? Get the fault checked and review a written estimate for your 525i. Six-cylinder oil service starts at AED 450.

Choose routine maintenance if the car is due for service. If a warning, leak or vibration brought you here, tell us what happened so we can agree the initial diagnostic work.
AED 450Starting price for specified engine oil, filter and applicable reset.
AED 650Starting price for oil service, specified filters and basic brake, tyre and battery checks.
AED 1,500Starting price. Confirm the applicable plugs, fluids, filters and inspections in writing.
AED 150Starting price for fault codes and a report. Agree additional testing separately.
These published BMW budgets help compare jobs. Confirm the fitted total once the failed part is identified. Electric pumps, adaptive dampers and internal gearbox repairs require a separate estimate.
Tell us when it happens and whether the car was cold, warm or under load.
Check the stored cylinder-specific faults, plug condition and ignition operation. If the fault stays on one cylinder, fuel or compression tests may be needed before approving more ignition parts.
Review intake and crankcase ventilation connections and relevant live readings. A suitable leak test can help identify where air enters. Ask where the leak was found before approving a hose, cover or seal.
Describe the speed, gear and temperature. Confirm the fitted fuel system before selecting pressure or injector tests. If recent work preceded the problem, share the invoice and when the symptom began.
Inspect the cover, filter housing and lower engine for a fresh trail. Oil can travel before it reaches the floor. Ask whether cleaning and a recheck are needed to confirm the source and what related seals or hardware the quote includes.
If testing points beyond ignition, intake or fuel delivery, see BMW engine repair.

A low-level warning after an overnight stop, residue around the cap and a temperature rise in traffic are different clues. Tell us how much you added, how often and whether work was done recently.
Check the cap, tank, radiator and hose connections. Coolant can collect on the undertray, so the puddle under the car may sit away from the actual leak.
If the inspection does not explain the complaint, confirm the fitted pump and assess thermostat and fan operation as appropriate. A leak test and an operating check answer different questions.
Ask whether the job includes seals, correct coolant, filling or bleeding and a final leak check. If it overheated, agree any extra checks for related damage.
See BMW water pump repair for pump-specific checks.
Overheating or red oil pressure warning Stop safely, switch off and arrange recovery. Keep the coolant cap closed while the engine is hot.
Tell us whether you feel it through the pedal, steering wheel or seat. Compare brake and hub measurements with tyre condition and suspension play before approving discs.
Ask the workshop to show which arm, bush, joint or mount has play. Uneven tyre wear can call for further checks. Confirm which parts should be repaired before alignment.
Describe the first shift after parking and whether it changes once warm. Identify the fitted transmission, check for leaks and mounts, and review fault data. Agree a fluid service or repair based on the findings. If there is a leak, ask where it starts and whether the quote includes the seals, specified fluid and final level check.
See BMW suspension repair or BMW gearbox repair for the specific work.

Tell us how long the car was parked, how it cranked and what changed after the jump. Bring the invoice for any recent battery, alternator or accessory work.
If replacement is needed, confirm battery type, size and capacity, plus registration or setup where required.
The 525i badge spans different petrol six-cylinder applications. Bring the year, body style, VIN and any invoice for related work. Production date and market matter when a catalogue shows multiple options.
Look at what has already been renewed. Cooling hoses, reservoirs and seals may have been replaced at different times. A previous cooling repair invoice helps identify the age of parts still on the car and which joints were disturbed.
BMW changed engines during this generation. See BMW's NG6 model release for an example of the change. Confirm the fuel system and pump drive before ordering injectors or cooling parts. On a Touring, verify the fitted rear suspension before a ride-height or damper quote.
Registration year can differ from production date. If the car has a replacement engine, gearbox or aftermarket suspension, tell us early. Use the fitted part and vehicle details together when the paperwork leaves a question.
Ask for the diagnosed part, parts brand, labour and fitted total. Agree how the workshop will get your approval for extra work.
Bring the service display, mileage and previous invoices. If the history is incomplete, start with a baseline inspection and a written list of due items.
Six-cylinder oil service starts at AED 450. Confirm the oil specification, filter, applicable reset and total.
Pump selection depends on the fitted engine. Use the production date and VIN to confirm the configuration before ordering parts.
Yes. Send a photo of the exact warning and describe when it appears. Stored fault data can guide additional testing if the warning is absent at the appointment.
Brake and hub measurements, tyre condition and suspension play can help isolate the cause. Explain whether the shake happens only during braking.
The workshop first identifies the fitted transmission and investigates the delay. A fluid service, an external leak repair and an internal gearbox repair have separate scopes.
